Delete Your Bill Eka Account and Data

This page explains how to permanently delete your Bill Eka account (package com.lankagrocery.insights) and the data stored with it. You can do it yourself inside the App, or ask us to do it if you can no longer open the App.

Option 1: Delete inside the App (immediate)

Open Bill Eka and sign in.
Tap the round Profile icon with your initials at the top of the Home screen.
Under Your data, tap Delete account & data.
Enter your password (if your account has one), type DELETE to confirm, and tap Delete everything.

Deletion takes effect immediately and cannot be undone.

Option 2: Request deletion by email

If you can't access the App, email support@jackoftrade.net with the subject line "Delete my Bill Eka account". Send it from the email address on the account, or, if you signed in with a phone number, include that phone number. We may ask a question to confirm the account is yours. We will delete the account and its data within 30 days of confirming your request.

Delete only some of your data

You don't have to delete your account to remove data. In the App, open your receipt history and delete any receipt to permanently remove that receipt and its items from our servers.

What is deleted

Your account details: name, nickname, email address, phone number, and sign-in credentials.
All saved receipts and their line items.
Your category budgets.
Records of corrections you made to scanned receipts.
Scan usage logs linked to your account.
Any pending phone sign-in verification code for your number.
Any unused account-transfer code.

Deleting inside the App also clears the shopping list and other data saved on your device.

What we do not keep

Photos you scan are not stored: they are deleted from our server as soon as processing finishes. Routine backups managed by our hosting provider may retain copies of deleted data for a limited time until they are overwritten in the normal backup cycle.
